Huichaira Vineyard is located in the Quebrada de Humahuaca, Jujuy —an impressive landscape where colorful hills, ancestral traditions, and millenary culture coexist with high-altitude viticulture. Less than 10 km from Tilcara, in a small valley surrounded by mountains, it rises at 2,750 meters above sea level, making it the southernmost point where Mil Suelos harvests in Argentina.
The project includes a small adobe winery, built using the ancestral techniques of the Quebrada and integrated with modern technology, where our winemaking team captures the DNA of this terroir in an elegant and contemporary style.

This 4-hectare project is a joint initiative between Mil Suelos and the Nieva family (owners of the land) and is currently planted with Malbec, Cabernet Franc, and Syrah. These varieties are co-fermented in small micro-vinifications, giving life to Huichaira’s first wine: Cielo Arriba.
