Founders

Alejandro Sejanovich

Born and raised in Mendoza, and an agronomist trained at the National University of Cuyo with a master’s in oenology from the Montpellier School, Alejandro Sejanovich is the winemaking soul of Mil Suelos. He has worked with the country’s finest vineyards, exploring the relationship between soil and vine to enhance the identity of each terroir. His vineyard expertise and winemaking sensitivity allow him to interpret each terroir and transform it into wine. As the head of winemaking, he closely oversees every stage, from vineyard care to the smallest details of production, ensuring that each bottle authentically expresses the essence of its origin. His focus is on creating wines that purely reflect the character of each soil, highlighting its diversity and unique expression.

Jeff Mausbach

Jeff Mausbach was born in a small town in the American Midwest. After years of studying international business in Chicago, he arrived in Mendoza in the 1990s, drawn by love, and was quickly captivated by its people, culture, and, of course, Argentine wine. With a deep passion for the world of winemaking, he spent many years developing international markets, sharing his love for Argentine wine across the globe. Today, as Mil Suelos’ commercial director, he leads the winery’s expansion, working tirelessly to position Argentine wine where it truly belongs at the very top.

Jorge Crotta

Born in Mendoza and with an outstanding career in the wine industry, Jorge Crotta has dedicated his career to promoting Argentine wine worldwide. His dedication, passion, and professionalism have allowed him to open new global doors. Over the years, he has worked tirelessly to position Mil Suelos throughout Argentina and across the globe, educating both professionals and consumers about the unique potential of our terroirs. As a pillar of Mil Suelos, Jorge conveys daily the passion with which we aim for our wines to express the richness of our country’s soils.
